This program highlights the insurance coverage provides by Personal, Commercial, and special Inland Marine policies for water damage and flood. The curriculum will highlight the limitations imposed by commonly sold insurance policies for damages to buildings, dwellings, and other property resulting from water, including the definition of flood and how the insurance industry currently deals with damage claims resulting from flood. In addition, there are several new federal regulations that will be covered within this seminar. An in-depth discussion of Flood Insurance including the current FEMA guidelines, application process, community participation, coverage provided by a National Flood Insurance Program policy, the "Write Your Own" program, flood maps, and other details important to agents when dealing with the issues of flood Insurance.

The program will combine a number of currently relevant issues related to the operation of an insurance agency taken from the court cases, covered and uncovered claims, and discussions related to how agencies can expand marketing new products to clients beyond the scope of commonly sold packaged products. The program is designed to appeal to all levels of insurance experience from insurance newbie's to seasoned producers and CSR's. The program will also provide time for the participants to ask questions aboutcurrent insurance topics including coverage issues, agency procedures, and regulation of the insurance industry.
